Role
Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Leeds (Permanent)
The Engineer will maintain, install, and refurbish fabric and equipment across the GBS UK estates portfolio. Duties include monitoring the condition of GBS buildings, undertaking repairs and renovations, and assisting Estates and Facilities in the planning of refurbishment projects. The role may require travel to other GBS UK campuses and demands flexible working to accommodate business operations. Working hours are 7:00 am – 9:30 pm, Monday to Sunday, with occasional out‑of‑hours work as required.

Qualifications
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
* City & Guilds Level 2 and/or Level 3 in Electrical Installations, or equivalent NVQ, or demonstrable experience to the same standard
* Previous experience in building maintenance including M&E systems
* Manual skills, knowledge of refurbishment techniques
* Flexible and proactive approach with a "can do" attitude
* Familiarity with COSHH requirements for equipment and chemicals used
* Interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of the wider facilities team
* Full, clean driving licence
