A growing renewable energy equipment manufacturer based in Bromborough is looking to recruit a Sales Development Representative to join their commercial team. This role will play a key part in driving sales growth across multiple channels, including housing developers, electrical wholesalers, e-commerce and distribution partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a strong pipeline of opportunities and supporting market expansion within the UK. Key Responsibilities Lead Generation & Pipeline Management Identify and qualify new business opportunities across the construction and distribution sectors Use market intelligence platforms such as Glenigan and NBS to identify upcoming projects and opportunities Maintain and nurture a strong pipeline of qualified leads Track lead conversion metrics and sales performance Channel Development Support sales growth across housing developers, electrical wholesalers and distribution channels Work closely with sales agents to develop opportunities within the wholesaler network Identify and develop new channel opportunities to increase market reach Tender & Framework Management Support the preparation and submission of tender documents Monitor opportunities on public sector procurement platforms such as Sell2Wales and Contracts Finder Ensure the business is registered and compliant with relevant procurement frameworks Sales Strategy & Reporting Work with the sales leadership team to execute proactive sales strategies Produce regular reporting on pipeline activity, sales performance and forecasts Support marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns Conduct competitor analysis and market benchmarking Candidate Requirements Proven experience in B2B or B2C sales, ideally within construction, engineering, building services or distribution sectors Experience generating leads and developing new business opportunities Familiarity with working alongside sales agents or indirect sales channels Understanding of tender processes or procurement platforms is advantageous Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a proactive sales environment Salary & Benefits To £40,000 basic salary Commission scheme providing a dditional earnings Company pension Life insurance Private dental and medical options On-site parking Casual dress
