We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Bridgewater, who are recruiting for a Damp and Mould Surveyor on a temporary three month contract. The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time.
The daily rate of pay is negotiable up to £280.00 via an Umbrella company.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Carrying out detailed inspections of properties to identify the cause and extent of damp, mould, and condensation issues
* Diagnosing the source of moisture ingress, including penetrating damp, rising damp, and condensation-related problems
* Preparing detailed survey reports outlining findings, recommended remedial actions, and estimated costs where applicable
* Liaising with tenants to arrange property inspections, explain findings, and provide advice on preventative measures
* Working closely with contractors to specify and oversee remedial works, ensuring they are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
* Providing technical advice to colleagues and contractors regarding building fabric defects and moisture management
* Support the wider repairs and maintenance team in developing proactive strategies to prevent reoccurrence of damp and mould issues
Experience required:
* Experience required in Social Housing and tenants
* Experience working within Damp and Mould
