The successful candidate will assist in providing efficient and effective Legal Services to the Council, particularly within the Planning, Land, Highways, and Housing Division. Responsibilities include providing legal advice on planning, land, and highway matters with minimal supervision, and drafting legal documents for conveyancing, Landlord and Tenant, and Planning and Highway issues.
The role involves undertaking various land-related transactions such as conveyancing, easements, boundary queries, deeds of variation/rectification, compulsory purchase acquisitions, and liaising with relevant statutory bodies, including the Welsh Government.
Requirements:
* Admitted Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive
* Broad knowledge of legislation relevant to the division's services
* Experience in a legal environment, especially in conveyancing, land, and property law, both in practice and legal administration
* Full UK Category B (Cars) driving license and use of a motor vehicle insured for business purposes
