Logistics Planner My client is a leading provider of security solutions, to which they supply to various industries that span across 11 countries. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking a Planner to join their team based in Larne. This is a Full-Time, Permanent Position. Working hours: 37.5 hours (office based). With a salary of £30,000 - £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience). Job Role: You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing various logistical activities related to the deployment and collection of the company's towers. This includes prioritizing, scheduling, and executing transport, installations, and pick-ups for the security solutions provided to customers. Additionally, you'll manage the inventory of towers and handle internal logistics, ensuring the smooth movement of towers between warehouses. Essential Criteria: Experience in logistics, planning or a related field. Professional Education/Vocational Education. Ability to plan, coordinator and maintain order in complex logistical operations. IT proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Exceptional customer service skills. Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload. Full valid Driving License. Desirable Criteria: Experience of using Salesforce and Excel to organize and manage information effectively. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Receiving, assessing and prioritising transport, positioning, installation, repair, and/or material orders. Communicate with customers and colleagues regarding scheduled activities. Identifying opportunities to improve logistical processes, procedures, and systems, addressing bottlenecks, capacity issues, and inefficiencies, while ensuring compliance with company policies. Analysing the available work hours, knowledge and skills, transport options and material stock, identifying possible shortages and/or consequences for the services provided. Monitoring and managing the schedule by maintaining contact with colleagues and customers and if necessary, revising the schedule. Processing of information relating to projects, planning and/or stock and ensuring the accuracy of information in the systems concerned. Identifying opportunities for improvement in processes, procedures, systems and/or solutions, suggesting improvements and contributing towards the implementation of those improvements.
