Overview
At Lavazza North America, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for sales activities managed through Direct and Distribution Partners in the designated territory for the Foodservice channel. This position focuses on the New England and Connecticut markets, aiming to grow the business to meet budgeted goals and manage current customers.
Responsibilities
* Manage all distributor and direct customer activities in the designated geography, including sales, equipment investment, and service.
* Ensure all distributor and direct customer A/R are within company guidelines and monitor performance against targets.
* Utilize knowledge of the geography, relationships with key contacts, and business insight tools to access potential new customers and business opportunities.
* Develop the business in line with sales targets and increased profitability by managing the activation of new potential clients according to Lavazza's policies and standards.
* Support activities on key clients to increase their value, such as ensuring contractual volume compliance and facilitating contract renewals.
* Track budgets for activation by account to ensure maximum visibility and effectiveness at POS.
* Review results regularly with the Senior RSM to confirm execution and results.
* Update sales activities and opportunities in the CRM daily.
Professional Qualifications
* Four-year college degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Business or Marketing Management.
* Minimum of 2 years experience in Foodservice sales, with coffee experience a plus.
* Experience in account and distributor management.
* CRM knowledge required; Salesforce preferred.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, high integrity, and relationship management abilities.
* Highly motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented.
Travel Requirements
* Up to 80% travel within the local territory, occasional overnight travel.
