Are you a passionate and qualified chef looking to take the next step in your culinary career? Join our dedicated team at this contract catering unit and play a key role in delivering high-quality meals to the customers in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
* Deliver high standards of food hygiene, safety, and presentation.
* Assist in menu planning and stock control.
* Lead kitchen shifts and supervise junior staff when required.
* Participate in function catering (available as paid overtime).
Shift Pattern
* 5 out of 7 days, including 1 in 3 weekends (reducing to 1 in 5 when fully staffed).
* Early and late shifts on a rota basis which are normally 6am-2pm or 11am-7pm
Requirements
* Qualified chef with relevant culinary certifications.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Experience in high-volume catering preferred.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.
* A flexible, can-do attitude and a passion for food.
