Their Glasgow team continues to expand, offering a collaborative, supportive culture where senior engineers can take ownership of projects, influence design direction, and contribute to continuous improvement across the business.Your new roleAs a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering electrical building services design across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to design development, mentor junior engineers, and ensure the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions. * Lead electrical building services design from concept through to detailed stages.
* Produce and review design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
* Work collaboratively with mechanical, sustainability, and structural engineering teams.
* Attend client meetings, conduct site visits, and support project delivery.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
* Mentor and support junior/intermediate engineers within the team.
* Contribute to improving processes, design quality, and technical excellence within the department.
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience in electrical building services engineering within a consultancy environment.
* Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, wiring regulations (BS 7671), and industry standards.
* Proficiency in relevant design software such as Amtech, Dialux/Relux, and CAD/Revit experience is beneficial.
* Ability to manage your own workload and lead elements of projects independently.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
* Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
* Chartered or working towards Chartership (IET/CIBSE) is advantageous.
