We are seeking a Paraplanner for one of the UK’s leading wealth management and financial planning groups. Known for its independent advice, strong values, and commitment to developing its people, the firm is recruiting within its Leicester office and looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join the team. If you enjoy problem‑solving, producing high‑quality technical work, and supporting advisers with complex financial planning, this role offers an excellent opportunity. You’ll work closely with other paraplanners, Financial Planning Consultants and a supportive administrative team, delivering research, analysis, recommendations, and clear, compliant reports. £38,000 - £42,000 Working hours 8.30am-5pm OR 9am-5.30pm (Mon – Thurs), 9am–3pm (Fri) – 37.5 hour working week 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and birthday off Pension Death in service x 4 Study support Opportunity for hybrid working after probationary period On-site parking / parking paid Duties and responsibilities: Conduct detailed research and analysis of products and providers for new clients, producing clear and comprehensive suitability reports Regularly review available products and proactively source new product information to ensure recommendations remain fully aligned with client needs Carry out ongoing investment fund research to monitor performance against expectations and ensure all recommended funds match clients’ risk profiles and investment principles Review new contracts and provider term changes, preparing informed product recommendations for Financial Advisers Maintain accurate, well‑organised research records and ensure all supporting documentation is properly filed Support the smooth running of back‑office procedures, contributing to efficient internal operations Provide administrative and compliance support to Financial Advisers, ensuring all new business documentation is complete and accurate Deliver annual client reviews, including research, analysis, and tailored recommendations where appropriate Skills and experience required: Level 4 diploma – or working towards / QBE 2 years of paraplanning experience with strong report writing skills Understanding of investments, pensions, protection, investments and trusts from a wealth management background Good working knowledge of research tools, cashflow modelling with Cashcalc, FE Analytics and Defaqto desirable Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills Highly organised, self-motivated and able to manage own workload effectively
