Job Title: Supply Admin Assistant Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire Contract Type: Temporary (Supply Basis) Working Hours: Full-time, Term Time Only Salary: £90–£100 per day (dependent on experience) About the Role: We are seeking a proactive and organised Supply Admin Assistant to support the administrative functions of a dynamic secondary school in Bradford. This temporary role is ideal for individuals with prior school office experience who can adapt quickly to new environments and contribute effectively from day one. Key Responsibilities: ️ Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and students, ensuring a welcoming and professional reception area. Manage incoming calls and emails, directing enquiries to the appropriate staff members. ️ Maintain and update student records using school management systems (e.g., SIMS). Assist with attendance tracking and reporting. Support the coordination of school events, meetings, and parent evenings. ️ Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry. Collaborate with teaching and support staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Requirements: ✅ Previous experience in a school administrative role is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with school management software (e.g., SIMS). ️ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Flexibility to adapt to different tasks and work environments. ️ A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one. Desirable: Knowledge of safeguarding procedures in educational settings. Experience with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) administration.
