About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain focused and learning progresses effectively. You will play a vital role in maintaining a positive learning environment and supporting the wider school community.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials across a variety of subjects
* Effectively manage classroom behaviour and uphold school policies
* Engage students through clear communication and positive reinforcement
* Support pupils in completing set work to a high standard
* Provide feedback to teaching staff on lesson progress and behaviour
* Foster professional relationships with staff and students throughout the school
Requirements
* Strong communication skills and confident behaviour management
* Ability to lead groups of young people in a classroom setting
* Positive attitude, reliability, and flexibility
* Previous school-based experience is advantageous but not essential
* Graduates and aspiring teachers are particularly encouraged to apply
