This is a hybrid role suiting someone who has recently qualified (or a finalist) with experience of statutory reporting or audit experience.
The role
The Financial Accountant will play a key role in the business’s year end reporting and maintenance of financial controls. The Financial Accountant role would suit someone with experience of working in audit within an accountancy firm, or someone with industry experience with exposure to year-end, statutory reporting and IFRS.
The role will involve but not be limited to:
1. Liaising with auditors and leading the audit.
2. Maintaining financial controls.
3. Balance sheet reconciliations.
4. Preparing financial statements under IFRS.
5. Supporting with tax related matters.
Profile
The Financial Accountant role would suit someone with the following skills or attributes:
6. Newly qualified and upwards ACA / ACCA / CIMA.
7. A background in audit within an accountancy firm or industry experience in a financial reporting role.
8. Experience within a highly regulated industry such as insurance or financial services would be an advantage.
9. Strongmunication skills.
Package:
10. £50,000-60,000 base salary.
