We are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive school. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an engaging, inclusive and well-structured curriculum to pupils in Key Stage 2, fostering both academic progress and personal development. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a KS2 Teacher:
1. Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in line with the national curriculum for Key Stage 2.
2. Plan and prepare engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
3. Assess and track pupil progress, identifying areas for development and ensuring every child is supported to reach their full potential.
4. Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.
5. Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
6. Take an active role in school life, including clubs, trips and events.
Ideal KS2 Teacher:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
2. Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (or relevant training if an ECT).
3. A strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a KS2 Teacher.
5. High expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour.
6. A reflective and proactive approach to continuous professional development.
