Management Accountant - Northampton, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

This role collaborates within a fast-paced technology organization, working closely with business and senior finance stakeholders to develop financial forecasts. It is responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and transparent financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making. The role also involves providing clear insights into actual and forecasted results for projects and assisting senior finance leaders in meeting financial targets. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
What you’ll do:
1. Collaborate with the senior finance team to provide clear analysis for effective decision-making.
2. Assist in developing and reporting on financial forecasts, including cash, P&L, and balance sheet metrics.
3. Prepare historic analysis by project, including month-end results, KPIs, and comparisons to forecasts/budgets.
4. Manage 2 direct reports.
5. Conduct area reviews for projects, working with operations to ensure accurate reporting, scrutinize financial results, and challenge the business.
Who you are:
This role suits a detail-oriented, organized, customer-focused individual.
Key Requirements:
* ACA, ACCA, or CIMA part-qualified.
* Experience in a business-facing finance role.
* Good communication skills.
* Proficiency in Excel.
* Experience with Oracle, SAP, or other large ERP systems.
