Our client, a reputable organisation in the utilities sector, is seeking a Logistics Support Administrator to join their dedicated team. Summary: Start date: ASAP Duration: 6 months - potential to be extended Location: Didcot OX11 Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour Hours: Part Time - 18 hours per week - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9-3What You'll Do: As a Logistics Support Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Logistics Team Leader and the wider logistics team. Your responsibilities will include: Order Management: Place and monitor orders with external suppliers, ensuring materials and services meet operational requirements. Supplier Liaison: Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely and complete deliveries, escalating any issues to meet customer expectations. Third-Party Coordination: Work with Third-Party Logistics providers to keep tracking of material movements up to date. Performance Measurement: Contribute to measuring departmental/team performance, helping achieve the highest possible individual and team objectives. Reporting: Collate information from stakeholders to produce regular reports that support the management team. Knowledge Maintenance: Stay informed about relevant policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.Key Accountabilities: Direct Accountability: Place and monitor orders, ensuring timely delivery and quality of materials. Indirect Accountability: Support management in achieving business objectives and maintaining an efficient logistics operation.Who You Are: We are looking for someone who is: Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail is essential for monitoring orders and managing reports.
