Job Description
As a Mortgage Processor, you will provide support to the Mortgage Advisors and customers by accurately assessing new applications against underwriting criteria, following appropriate policies and procedures and ensuring that pipelines are appropriately managed and progressed.
As a Mortgage Processor, we are looking for someone to:
11. Accurately process applications from receipt of pack to submission to underwriting, completing information on relevant systems and completing relevant fraud prevention checks
12. Provisionally underwrite and package new applications received, providing an initial case assessment and requesting any additional information required to progress to underwriting
13. Complete security checks with applicants where required, with a focus on fraud avoidance, ensuring timely investigation, escalation and reporting, to minimise the risk to the business and the customer
14. Accurately manage the submission process, ensuring all data entry is accurate completed to ensure a smooth transition to underwriting
15. Proactively manage a pipeline of cases, ensuring that information is proactively requested from customers and third parties
16. Provide customers and other stakeholders with updates and ensure required information is requested within service levels
Qualifications
17. Mortgage processing/administrative experience
18. Customer Service experience
19. Ability to assess and interpret information supplied bank statement
20. Experience of working in a regulated environment
21. Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
