Marketing Assistant – E-Commerce & Social Media Focus

We’re on the hunt for a creative, proactive, and results-driven Marketing Assistant to support the growth of our branded e-commerce shop focused on cleaning products, tools, and equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your ideas and input will directly impact our online visibility, sales performance, and customer experience.

Reports To: Director
Key Responsibilities
* Social Media Management
o Create and schedule engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube using tools like Canva.
o Develop and maintain a 3–6 month social media calendar.
o Monitor and respond to customer enquiries via social platforms and email.
o Identify and coordinate collaborations with influencers and affiliates.
* E-Commerce Plan to Action & Website Support
o Regularly review and update the Molly Maid Shop website to ensure a smooth customer journey.
o Optimise automated emails to drive conversions and repeat purchases.
o Keep product descriptions fresh, persuasive, and aligned with customer needs.
* Performance Analysis & Market Research
o Track and report on sales, website performance, email effectiveness, and advertising ROI.
o Deliver insights and updates to the Director and other stakeholders through reports and presentations.
o Stay ahead of e-commerce and consumer trends by reviewing relevant publications and sources.
* Content & Tool Development
o Support franchise owners by creating marketing tools and promotional materials that drive product sales.
* Influencer & Affiliate Support
o Manage relationships and monitor performance of influencer and affiliate marketing activities.
* Coordination & Admin Tasks
o Maintain marketing calendars and campaign deadlines.
o Assist with campaign launches, budget tracking, and expense reporting.
o Liaise with suppliers to monitor stock, delivery fulfilment, and potential new product lines.
Qualifications & What We’re Looking For
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Experience with Canva, email marketing platforms, and social media scheduling tools.
* Comfortable analysing data and preparing performance reports.
* A proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
* Prior experience in e-commerce or digital marketing is a plus.
