Job summary
The purpose of this post is to work as part of the multi-disciplinary team for the Early Intervention In Psychosis Team, carrying out full risk assessment, mental, physical health and social care assessments and specialist psychosis assessments, identifying clients suitable for the service who meet the criteria for First Episode Psychosis, At Risk Mental States (at risk of 1st episode), to provide short term intervention and treatment as required and to refer on to relevant services clients who do not meet the criteria for EIT.In line with currently identified best practice within early intervention work and to play an active role in service development supporting the team.
Main duties of the job
* To act as a Specialist Assessment Coordinator in carrying out assessments of clients referred to EIT who are suspected as having First Episode Psychosis.
* To support and supervise junior staff within the team.
* To at times manage and supervise the team.
