Business Development Manager
Northwest England (Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, etc)
Up to £50k and realistic OTE of £75-80k (not capped, over six figures is achievable)

Lorien are currently recruiting a Business Development Manager an established Audio and PAVA (public address) specialist who are expanding due to excess of sales opportunities and limited current sales capacity (a rare combo meaning there is a good platform to make sales quickly).
The Role
As Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for generating new business while also nurturing and expanding existing accounts. The organisation has a solid footprint across large‑scale environments such as:
* Major public venues
* Industrial and manufacturing facilities
* Rail environments
* Shopping centres
* Large commercial sites and multi‑building estates
They design and deliver complex public address, safety, security and CCTV system solutions, and hold long‑standing contracts across some of the UK’s most recognisable sites.
They also have a strong engineering and technical team behind you, with deep capability for system design and support. While you’ll collaborate closely with them, they are looking for someone who is able to manage their own proposals and shape commercial solutions.
This is a field‑based role with no requirement to be in the office regularly, just the occasional team meeting, however visiting clients and perspective new business is to be expected and a company car or car allowance is offered for this.
What We’re Looking For
* Strong background in new business development with some level of account management
* Experience in AV, electronic security, technology solutions, or IT will translate extremely well
* Confident consultative seller able to work with technical teams to shape detailed solutions
