About the role
About the Role
As our Theatre Administrator, you will be the central link between the Theatre team and other departments across the hospital, ensuring all administrative processes run efficiently and in line with hospital policies and procedures.
You will:
* Use your initiative to prioritise workload, working within standard operating procedures but confidently making decisions to ensure deadlines and service needs are met.
* Provide dedicated administrative support to the Theatre Department Manager and clinical leads.
* Maintain accurate records, including electronic and paper filing systems, spreadsheets, staff training records, and equipment training documentation.
* Assist with key departmental processes, such as taking minutes at meetings, completing and submitting NJR forms, providing non‑conformance forms to DS, and supporting internal audit programmes.
* Manage loan instruments and implants, including ordering, checking, receipting, and liaising with courier services to ensure all loan kits arrive on time and are ready for clinical use.
Skills and experience required

* Strong administrative experience, ideally within a clinical or operational setting
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
* Confidence using IT systems, databases, and Microsoft applications
* A proactive, flexible approach and a keen eye for detail
* Strong communication skills and a team‑focused mindset
