Your Role: Market Development Representative
As a Market Development Representative, you will be a vital partner in driving our brands to success in both vibrant on-premise locations (think lively restaurants and bars) and bustling off-premise spots (like grocery and liquor stores). Here’s what you’ll be doing:
* Crafting Solutions for Growth: Implement innovative strategies to boost business for assigned accounts and elevate Sazerac brands in market share.
* Brand Building: Utilize consumer and category trends to educate customers, solve challenges, and skyrocket sales.
* Distribution Leadership: Guide distributors with in-store selling, marketing, and account execution.
* Volume Objectives: Help achieve volume goals for our core brands.
* Strategic Program Execution: Implement programs that deliver on distribution, merchandising, and retail promotional goals.
* Building Rapport: Develop valuable relationships with customers by understanding their needs.
* Communication & Collaboration: Act as the communication lead between key customers, wholesalers, and our internal team.
* KPI Monitoring: Track established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure we consistently meet our goals.

Qualifications & Requirements

* Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
* Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional field sales experience in the alcohol-beverage or CPG industries. New graduates should have relevant internships or sales experience.
* Results Driven: Proven track record of volume achievements and ability to meet distribution and promotional goals.
* Technical Savvy: Experience using sales data analytics to drive results and identify market trends.
* Mobility: Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within your assigned territory.
* Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
* Location: Must live in or near the territory.
* Expenses: Ability to cover ordinary business expenses, which will be reimbursed.
* Compliance: Must obtain a solicitor’s permit in any state as required.
Physical Requirements
* Ability to stand for extended periods.
* Capable of lifting/moving objects up to 35 lbs without assistance.
* Ability to ascend or descend stairs.
* Must be able to drive and visit multiple accounts in one day.
* Strong communication skills are essential.
