We have an opportunity available part time Senior Support Worker, working waking nights to join the team at our Knowsley Supported Living Service Bluebell Lane, L36 7XY. The service is due to become CQC Registered this year.
60 per hour
Hours: 24 per week working 2x 12 hour shifts 8am-8pm
The team provide a 24 service for people with a mental health diagnosis and will support people in crisis short term for up to 2 years to a point where they can move on. The service also provides a crisis emergency bed.

As a Support Worker in Supported Living you'll be supporting adults on a person-centered basis to live independently, helping them move towards independent accommodation.
From medication assistance to accessing the community and domestic tasks, your days will be varied, and no two days will be the same. That's why we're looking for someone who can think on their feet and truly understand our clients' needs with a big smile that lights up our service users' faces.

It's important to note that you do not need prior industry experience or any specific qualifications to be considered for this role though working in a similar setting with people with a mental health diagnosis would be an advantage. On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role.
