This role is being advertised on behalf of our client, who is seeking a dedicated and commercially aware leader to oversee the successful operation of their care home.?? The Role As Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining compliance and achieving strong operational performance.Operating within a regulated environment, you will be required to have a thorough understanding of CQC standards and all relevant legislation. You will also play a key role in maintaining occupancy levels and achieving financial targets.You will benefit from strong support both internally and externally, including Operations and Central teams, as well as an established in-home team consisting of a Deputy Manager, Administrator, and Hospitality and Housekeeping teams.??
Reporting To Operations Manager?? Key Responsibilities Provide effective leadership and direction to the staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathyEnsure full compliance with all regulatory requirements, including CQC standardsMaintain exceptional standards of care and support for residentsManage budgets and ensure financial targets are consistently metDevelop and deliver a strategic marketing plan to drive and maintain full occupancyBuild and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and stakeholdersRespond promptly and effectively to feedback, concerns, and changing needs?? Skills & Experience Previous experience managing a nursing or residential care homeStrong working knowledge of CQC regulations, with a focus on achieving high ratingsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholdersCommercial awareness with experience in marketing and running a successful care servicePassion for delivering high-quality, person-centred careAbility to contribute to the growth and continuous improvement of the service??
Qualifications NMC registered nurse (desirable but not essential)Relevant post-registration or management experience within a care setting??
