Job Purpose
As a Junior Design Engineer you will join Manifolds & Structures department to be responsible for execution of engineering projects within Hydraulics Systems products.
Your Responsibilities
1. Hydraulic Tubing design per project specific design specifications and engineering standards as well as following relevant processes
2. Responsible for hydraulics documentation required for procurement and fabrication
3. Routing of Hydraulic Tubing 3D models in NX
4. Creating Hydraulic Assembly Layouts (hydraulic schematics)
5. Preparing Bill of Materials including tube fittings selection
6. Review engineering packagesPerform Product Design Reviews
7. Maintenance of assigned project budget and schedule
8. Cooperation and support for Product Designers
9. Provide design input in technical meetings
Our Requirements
10. BSc/MSc in Engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulics/Pneumatics Engineering or similar)
11. Experience in Product Design & Development
12. Good communication skills (fluent English required), capable of solving technical issues
13. Experience in CAD software (NX preferred)
14. Basic or experienced in using hydraulic schematics, symbols, hydraulic systems
15. Knowledge and experience in reading and understanding 2D technical drawings and documentation
16. Experience in PLM Software (Teamcenter preferred) is an asset
17. Knowledge of manufacturing processes
