Job Description
As the Sales Application Engineer in Cyber Security, you will translate customer cybersecurity requirements into implementable system solutions across GE equipment in various sectors, including Power Plants, Wind farms, Mining & Metal, Offshore Oil & Gas, and Railway. You will support projects from proposal to commissioning, focusing on OT infrastructure such as HMI's, PLCs, engineering stations, data acquisition, and remote access solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Support cybersecurity projects from proposal to implementation.
* Assess critical infrastructure requirements and develop measures to meet them.
* Advise on system architecture design and adaptation per customer needs.
* Configure devices such as PCs, switches, firewalls, PLCs, and monitoring stations.
* Coordinate and advise on site acceptance testing.
* Lead cybersecurity meetings with clients and suppliers.
* Collaborate with international teams on cybersecurity procedures and guidelines.
* Travel domestically and internationally (~20%) for meetings, site visits, and customer engagements.
Candidate Profile
* Degree in Software Engineering, Cyber Security, Industrial Control Systems, or relevant experience.
* Experience in control & automation project design and integration.
* Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC-UA, Profibus, Profinet, etc.).
* Understanding of industrial networking and cybersecurity standards (IEC 62443).
* Skills in configuring Windows environments, networks, and PLCs.
* Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
* Organizational and leadership qualities.
* Self-motivated with a desire for continuous learning.
Preferred Qualifications
* Cisco CCNA certification.
* GICSP certification.
