Exciting Opportunity: Senior Quantity Surveyor (Hull)
Are you a seasoned Quantity Surveyor looking to take your career to new heights? My global client is seeking a talented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Hull. As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial management of major construction projects, ensuring the successful delivery of complex infrastructure initiatives.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
* Coordinate the preparation of monthly Auto-WIP and journal returns
* Liaise with the client on compensation events, payment allocation queries, and disallowed items
* Conduct cost analysis using SAP and Power BI to support Project Board Reports
* Oversee subcontract management processes and update commercial registers
* Manage the change control process, including notifications, quotations, and agreement of compensation events
Qualifications and Experience Required:
* Extensive knowledge of the NAECI Agreement
* Experience on major construction projects
* Proficiency in NEC4 Option B Contracts and the Standard Method of Measurement
* Basic understanding of P6 programming
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Full UK Working Rights
