Job Summary
To be the Support Facilitator for a range of quality and governance projects and processes within the Imaging department for which the Deputy Service Line Manager is responsible for. To assist in the delivery of the existing processes and compliance requirements within the Imaging Directorate by coordinating the multi-disciplinary workforce involvement as required. The post holder will support the Deputy Service Line Manager team in the facilitation and coordination of all aspects of Quality, Clinical Governance and Clinical Effectiveness across Imaging. This will include supporting oversight of existing processes as well as embedding good practice in line with national requirements. Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.
Main duties of the job
To provide specialist quality and governance support to the Deputy Service Line Manager (Quality and Governance), modality leads, and Imaging senior management team as required. To provide support in the ongoing implementation and day to day management of Imaging governance processes as directed the Deputy Service Line Manager and support developments in response to Trust requirements and Nation Developments (i.e. PSIRF). To oversee the day-to-day management of the Quality Management system to ensure there is robust review processes in place for timely review of documentation and manage compliance mechanisms to demonstrate the department is working in line with local and trust wide policies. To support maintaining oversight of key elements for the governance profile for the Imaging Service Line by monitoring the following: risks and incidents reported on Datix; clinical audit register; NICE guidance register; training and competency matrix; patient feedback – PALS, complaints, patient surveys. To provide quality, governance and administrative management support to the Imaging Quality Management Structure and associated meetings.

Job Description
PRIMARY DUTIES & AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Work with the Deputy Service Line Manager (Quality and Governance) in the assessment, reporting and escalation of effective quality and governance processes within the Imaging Service Line. Support the delivery of governance improvement projects in the service line with oversight and support from the Deputy Service Line Manager and Service Improvement Manager. Build strong relationships with Imaging staff at all levels, Care Group Level, Medical Physics and Trust Governance to understand needs, agree project objectives, develop safe processes and identify timeframes and assign ownership of tasks. Work to time-critical deadlines; liaising with key Imaging leads to identify concerns and provide resolutions within given timescales. Produce and present complex governance and quality data and other information to multi-disciplinary staff groups including clinicians, service users and radiographers, identifying themes for escalation to the Deputy Service Line Manager. Communicate and engage effectively with a wide range of staff including clinicians, specialist advisors, service providers and senior project leads, in relation to the quality and governance processes. Have overall management responsibility for the Quality Management and Document Control System (Q-Pulse) and oversee the approval process for documentation with support from the Deputy Service Line Manager. Provide training support to staff within the Service Line in the use of the Q-Pulse document control system.

Essential
Knowledge and Experience
* Previous demonstrable experience in a healthcare setting in an administrative or clinical role.
* Provide interpretative skills with data analysis and presentation for governance management and performance metrics, including incident evaluation.
* Demonstrable experience in working directly with clinicians, managers, staff & contractors on a variety of matters.
Desirable
* Demonstrable experience with clinical systems such as IPM and CRIS
* Governance and quality management systems such as Q-Pulse and Datix
* Knowledge and experience in improvement/change management methodologies
Aptitude and Abilities
* Good communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with a range of individuals and groups to lead/support management of projects
* Ability to deal with difficult situations and conversations professionally
* Able to provide and receive complex information and communicate to multi-disciplinary staff/meetings
