Overview
An opportunity has arisen for several candidates to join our Housekeeping Services at Royal Glamorgan Hospital. The roles will support various part-time hours based across a rota of seven days. The role will support the Facilities (Hotel Services) team in delivering Housekeeping services to the National Standards for these services in NHS Wales, HIW standard 5 and 9 and Organisational Standards. To assist in developing, maintaining and promoting the highest standards of service delivery and team working practices; and helping to maintain open, effective communication.
Responsibilities
* Work within the Health Board, to undertake duties as designated by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
* Maintaining a high standard of environmental cleanliness
* To observe and maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene, confidentiality, courtesy and consideration to all patients and fellow employees;
* Housekeeping and Cleanliness duties will be routinely carried out in accordance with the Health Board Housekeeping standard operating procedure and roles and responsibilities for cleaning procedure of which standards are subject to regular audit.

* Applicants who are not UK or Republic of Ireland nationals will require sponsorship to obtain either a Health and Care Visa or a Skilled Worker Visa unless they already hold permission to work via another route.
