We’re looking for a Senior Operations Manager focusing on Productivity & Performance Management to join our senior leadership team and drive excellence across our supply chain network. This is a brand‑new role – a rare opportunity to shape how we deliver performance, innovation, and results at scale. You’ll be the go-to person for unlocking potential across service, quality, and cost, and for building a supply chain that can flex, grow, and adapt with our ambitious plans. The role can be based in Leeds, Bristol or Ipswich.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Design and deliver a roadmap for network optimisation and future growth.
* Lead initiatives that enhance speed, cost‑efficiency and service quality across the end‑to‑end supply chain.
* Partner with Procurement, Logistics, IT and Operations to identify and deliver performance improvements.
* Facilitate workshops and reviews to align teams and solve complex operational challenges.
* Establish, monitor and evolve KPI frameworks to track performance and uncover opportunities.
* Present actionable insights and updates to senior leadership.
* Build a high‑performing, agile supply chain that thrives on continuous improvement.
* Design sustainable, scalable solutions that eliminate repeat defects and strengthen long‑term capability.
What You’ll Bring
* Proven experience in supply chain performance, planning or productivity roles.
* Proven success in retail, omnichannel or FMCG environments.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities.
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* High‑energy, hands‑on leadership style – you roll up your sleeves and get things done.
* Experience managing budgets and influencing P&L outcomes.
* Familiarity with tools such as Supply Chain Guru, Data Guru, SAP APO/IBP is advantageous.
