About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Welder to join our clients fabrication and construction team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical welding abilities and experience working with structural steel. Key Responsibilities: Weld and fabricate structural steel components using MIG, TIG, and/or Stick (SMAW) welding processes. Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, drilling, or shaping steel components. Perform layout, fitting, and assembly of steel structures according to specifications. Conduct weld inspections and ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards. Operate hand and power tools such as grinders, torches, plasma cutters, and magnetic drills. Work at heights on scaffolding or elevated platforms when required. Requirements: Familiarity with CNC cutting, robotic welding, or advanced fabrication equipment. Valid CSCS is preferred. Proven experience as a welder, preferably within structural or heavy steelwork. Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding. Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions (standing, kneeling, overhead). Valid welding certifications (e.g., ASME, AWS, EN ISO) preferred.
