Robert Half Finance & Accounting are partnering with a leading Media Company in London to recruit an immediate, Interim Accountant for 3 months.
Role:
Our client is looking for an immediate, Interim Accountant to assist them for 3 months. You be will be responsible for following duties:
1. Manage and perform all North American accounting functions including transactions posting, customer billing, A/R, A/P, GL postings, cost accounting, and revenue recognition
2. Reconciliation of balance sheet, P&L and all intercompany recharges
3. Produce monthly financial statements, perform variance analysis and provide commentaries
4. Oversee tax functions for the US and Canada liaising with our external tax accountants and ensuring all necessary tax filings are completed in time
5. Production of year end audit files for both US and Canada Companies and support head office and parent company with the statutory audit
6. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements; filing financial reports
7. Maintain internal control processes and ensure the system and processes are efficient operating and utilised within the company
8. Manage relationships with bankers, auditors, and tax authorities
9. Lead monthly account reviews for US and Canada, working with VP Finance & Reporting to ensure management accounts and reporting supports overall reporting vision
10. Support group HR team with monthly payroll processing when needed
11. Provide ad hoc operational support for the office and HR
Profile:
The successful Interim Accountant will either be Part qualified or newly qualified experience.
You must be immediate or 1 weeks notice to be considered for this role.

Salary & Benefits:
This Interim Accountant role will be paying circa £21-£25 per hour, dependant on experience.
