The firm are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Tax and Trust Assistant Manager or Manager to join their growing team based near Langport / Somerset
The firm provide provide personal and bespoke legal & trust services for individuals, professionals & businesses
This is an excellent opportunity for any senior personal tax and trust advisor working in a practice looking for a new challenge outside of a traditional accountancy practice.
Key Responsibilities:
•Trust Administration: Manage and oversee the administration of a portfolio of trusts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
•Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing them with regular updates and addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly.
•Financial Management: Oversee the financial aspects of trusts, including the preparation of accounts, tax returns, and investment reviews.
•Legal Compliance: Ensure all trust activities are conducted in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, including trust deeds, wills, and governing documents.
•Advisory Services: Provide expert advice on trust structuring, estate planning, and related legal matters to clients and colleagues.
•Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments within the firm, including the private client team, to deliver a seamless service to our clients.
•Professional Development: Stay abreast of changes in trust law and related fields, and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
•Strong knowledge of trust law, estate planning, and tax implications.
