My client are looking for an experienced and motivated Litigation Solicitor to join their expanding dispute resolution team. If you’re passionate about advocacy and strategic legal problem-solving, this is an excellent opportunity to handle a broad and interesting caseload from pre-action to enforcement.
This role will be working between the Taunton and Wellington offices.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Managing a diverse caseload across a range of litigation matters
* Drafting legal documents including pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence
* Representing clients at court hearings, mediations, and settlement meetings
* Providing clear, commercially focused legal advice
* Collaborating closely with colleagues across the firm
* Contributing to business development and client relationship initiatives
* Staying up to date with the latest developments in litigation law and practice
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent jurisdiction)
* Minimum of 5 years’ PQE with solid litigation experience
* In-depth knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
* Commercially minded with a client-first approach
* Confident in negotiations and advocacy
It’s a Plus If You Have
* Experience in commercial litigation and property disputes
* Familiarity with alternative dispute resolution methods
* A track record in business development
