Senior Rural Chartered Surveyor
Location: Northamptonshire
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday (flexible working available)
The Opportunity
We are working with a leading property consultancy to recruit an MRICS-qualified Senior Rural Chartered Surveyor for their Northamptonshire office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive, multi-disciplinary team with strong career development prospects.
Role Overview
You'll be responsible for delivering a wide range of professional rural surveying services, including:
1. Advising landowners on strategies to maximise land value (option and promotion agreements)
2. Providing guidance on tenancy matters for landlords and tenants
3. Undertaking valuations of rural, residential, and commercial property
4. Assisting with property sales and lettings
5. Managing compensation claims, grants, subsidies, and joint ventures
6. Building and maintaining strong client relationships
7. Supporting business planning and contributing to financial performance
8. Managing your workload to meet agreed targets
Candidate Profile
9. MRICS qualified and ideally a Registered Valuer
10. Strong understanding of property, land, agriculture, and business matters
11. Able to work independently and collaboratively
12. Commercially aware with budget and workload management skills
13. Proactive, self-motivated, and confident in taking initiative
14. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
15. IT proficient
16. Full UK driving licence and access to a business-insured vehicle
