Role – Senior Urban Designer
Location – Birmingham
Salary - £DOE
We are working with a studio based in the heart of the city next to Birmingham New Street who have a vacancy for a creative Urban Designer or Senior Urban Designer to join the team. Over the last 15 years the company has grown to nearly 40 people across 2 offices, including landscape architects, ecologists, Urban design and a graphics and support team. Their work includes major city centres, the design and delivery of city centre public realm, town centre masterplans and community-led estate regenerations. While landscape architecture is their core, they are growing an Urban Design team to work alongside this part of the business and this is one of the main reasons for the recruitment.
They have a great team culture with socials, field trips, events and team days. Activities have included pop up pizza nights, bowling and beers, family picnics in parks and greenspaces created together, and team study trips across the UK. They currently have a five-a-side football team, golf club and Wednesday walks. On-site gym facilities are available for all staff, with breakfasts three days a week to coincide with core studio days.
