Location: Harwood, Bolton (BL2)
Hours: Monday-Friday
Option 1: 7:30am-10:00am & 3:00pm-6:00pm
Option 2 (flexible): 7:30am-9:00am & 2:00pm-6:00pm
Contract: Permanent
Start Date: ASAPA friendly and welcoming Primary School in Harwood, Bolton (BL2) is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Before & After School Club Manager to lead their wraparound care provision. This is a permanent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and is confident managing a safe, engaging and structured environment outside of the school day.
This role would suit someone with a childcare background who is ready to take on more responsibility, or an experienced practitioner looking to step into a leadership position.
About the Role
* Overseeing the day-to-day running of the before and after school club
* Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities
* Creating a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for all children
* Supervising children during breakfast and after‑school sessions
* Managing routines, registers and communication with parents
* Leading and supporting other staff members where applicable
* Ensuring safeguarding, health & safety and welfare standards are met
What We're Looking For
* Level 3 qualification in Childcare (essential)
* Previous experience working with children
* A positive, organised and proactive approach
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage routines and create a structured environment
* Managerial or leadership experience desirable but not essential
