Assistant Management AccountantLocation: North ManchesterIndustry: Manufacturing
Our client, a leading manufacturer, has recently undergone significant investment and growth. They are now seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their dynamic finance team.
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting the Finance Controller and wider finance team, with responsibilities including (but not limited to):
* Production of weekly accounts
* Month-end processing and analysis, including:
o Preparation of accruals and prepayments
o Posting payroll journals
o Draft P&L and Balance Sheet preparation
* Balance Sheet and Bank reconciliations
* Supplier reconciliations
* VAT returns
* Overhead analysis and commentary
* ONS returns
* Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register and depreciation calculations
* Assist and support the Operations Accountant and Finance Director
Requirements
* Part-qualified accountant studier, (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
* Strong Excel skills, pivot tables/V-Look-ups
* Determination, initiative, and a proactive approach
