Soulbury Assistant Educational Psychologist Scale, Points 2-5
Northumberland Psychological Service is seeking to appoint an Assistant Educational Psychologist to enhance our team and the Be You Mental Health Support Teams in Northumberland. The successful candidate will join a well-valued service by schools, settings, and stakeholders. Working alongside and supervised by Educational Psychologists, the role involves preventative and early intervention work, as well as supporting statutory assessments.
The Service maintains strong links with Newcastle University and hosts doctoral trainees regularly.
This position is suitable for individuals with an honours degree in Psychology (2:1 or above) and experience working with children and young people. The posts are fixed-term for one year and are primarily aimed at those interested in pursuing formal training to become an Educational Psychologist.
