Job Title: ICT Consultant
Turn IT On is seeking an ICT Consultant with a passion for technology and excellent customer service skills to support schools across Buckinghamshire. The role involves maintaining IT hardware and services, supporting school ICT provisions, and enabling effective teaching through ICT solutions.
Responsibilities:
1. Resolve and manage technical issues impacting school functions by providing robust solutions.
2. Install or repair computers with standard applications and networking software, diagnosing and solving operational problems.
3. Respond to a range of technical duties related to computer networks and desktop services, including installations and upgrades of desktops, iPads, printers, telephones, scanners, projectors, PA equipment, AV lecterns, and hardware.
4. Maintain all IT hardware and services across multiple school sites.
5. Assist schools in improving ICT standards and supporting effective teaching and learning.
6. Facilitate communication between schools and Turn IT On, managing customer accounts and keeping clients updated on services.
7. Install and support software across networks, provide user support, and troubleshoot technical problems.
8. Maintain good knowledge of user applications, especially Microsoft Office365.
Requirements:
* At least 2 years experience in ICT support, preferably in the education sector.
* Own a vehicle and possess a full UK driving license.
* Strong technical background with a passion for IT and customer service.
* Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and proactively improve services.
Additional Information:
