The Role
Working with pupils from Reception to Year 11, you will:
* Support young people with complex learning, behavioural, and emotional needs
* Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour using structured approaches
* Build professional relationships based on trust and respect
* Adapt learning plans to meet individual needs
* Promote resilience, self-regulation, and positive decision-making
* Provide the stability and encouragement pupils need to re-engage with education

What We’re Looking For
* A resilient, proactive, solution-focused mindset
* Confidence in managing challenging behaviour calmly and consistently
* Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
* Experience in SEMH, SEN, care, youth work, or similar settings (highly desirable)
* Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
