We’re looking for an inspirational and hands-on Head Chef who leads from the front, works closely with the team, and helps drive the business forward. You’ll have the autonomy to create and produce menus focused on freshly prepared, locally sourced food, all aligned with the overall business strategy to stimulate food sales throughout the hotel.
What Will I Be Doing?
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for managing and training the kitchen team to deliver an outstanding guest and member experience. In this role, you will also be expected to manage food cost controls, achieving budgeted payroll targets and ensure high culinary standards are consistently met.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the kitchen team with passion and professionalism
* Designing and producing seasonal, locally sourced menus
* Managing stock, food costs, and wastage in line with budget expectations
* Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
* Recruiting, training, and developing kitchen staff
* Collaborating with the wider hotel team to maximise guest satisfaction and revenue
