Main purpose of the role:
This Data Analyst will play a crucial role in analysing business data and providing actionable insights to drive our growth. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for data and analytics to contribute to a relatively young, very fast growing and thriving Group operating in the fitness apparel/fashion industry.
Roles & responsibilities:
* Collect, process, and clean data from various sources for analysis
* Analyse business data to identify trends, patterns, actionable insight and areas for improvement.
* Develop and maintain regular performance reports and dashboards.
* Respond to commercial queries that need detailed analysis of data.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven recommendations.
* Continuously improve and automate data collection and analysis processes.
* Research and implement best practices in data analytics and reporting.
* Assist in training and guiding team members in data-related best practices.
Requirements:
* Strong mathematical abilities and analytical skills, ideally a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Very proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
* Some experience with PowerBI is a plus but not required.
* Exceptional problem-solving skills and a methodical and logical approach to data analysis
* Ability to work under pressure, plan tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ethical understanding of data collection, analysis, and reporting.
* A strong desire to learn, grow, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
