HP Asset Manager (Visual Basic Specialist) | 12 Months | £400 - £500 | Outside IR35 | Mostly Remote
We’re hiring a contract Asset Manager with strong experience in Visual Basic and HP enterprise hardware to support our clients IT operations. You’ll be responsible for managing IT assets, developing automation tools, and ensuring compliance across infrastructure. This role requires onsite work at the office closest to you once every 2-4 weeks and pays between £400 - £500 per day Outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage HP hardware assets, including blade servers and client devices.
2. Develop and maintain internal tooling using Visual Basic and SQL.
3. Track and report on asset lifecycle, usage, and compliance.
4. Collaborate virtually with IT and procurement teams to streamline asset processes.
5. Maintain documentation and support audit readiness.
6. Willingness to travel for onsite work once or twice a month if required.
Required Skills
7. Strong proficiency in Visual Basic and scripting.
8. Strong experience with HP enterprise hardware and asset management systems.
9. Familiarity with SQL Server, XML, and workflow automation.
10. Excellent analytical and documentation skills.
11. Comfortable working independently in a remote setup.
