We are currently seeking a dedicated and creative Junior Pastry Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a Junior Pastry Sous Chef, you will oversee the pastry kitchen, ensure the creation of exquisite desserts, and contribute to our dining excellence. If you have a passion for pastry, strong culinary skills, and leadership qualities, we invite you to be an integral part of our culinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of the pastry kitchen, maintaining high dessert quality standards.
2. Lead and inspire the pastry team, fostering a collaborative environment.
3. Create visually appealing desserts that meet presentation and taste standards.
4. Monitor inventory, order supplies, and ensure ingredient freshness.
5. Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new pastry menu items and seasonal specials.
6. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
7. Maintain a positive and efficient working environment.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Junior Pastry Sous Chef or similar role in the culinary industry.
* Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and dessert presentation.
* Exceptional culinary skills and attention to detail.
* Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and train staff.
* Familiarity with inventory management and ordering processes.
