A welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in High Wycombe is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Art ECT to join its successful Art department from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Art ECT to begin their teaching career within a school that offers a highly supportive and structured ECT programme.

The successful Art ECT will teach Art across KS3 and KS4, working alongside an experienced department that is committed to mentoring and developing Early Career Teachers.

The Role

The school is looking for an enthusiastic Art ECT who can deliver engaging and imaginative lessons that inspire students to explore their creativity and develop their artistic skills. The successful Art ECT will receive strong guidance and support through a structured induction programme.

Responsibilities of the Art ECT include:

* Teaching Art across KS3 and KS4

* Planning creative lessons covering a range of artistic techniques and media

* Supporting students in developing coursework portfolios and creative projects

* Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback

* Contributing to displays, exhibitions, and wider Art department activities

The Ideal Candidate

The successful Art ECT will:

* Be completing or have recently completed a PGCE or teacher training programme in Art

* Be able to teach Art across KS3 and KS4

* Demonstrate creativity and enthusiasm for visual arts education

* Have strong organisational and communication skills

* Be eager to develop professionally within a supportive department
