Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Supervisor to lead our food trailer in delivering exceptional food quality and service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a passion for hospitality, leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and production.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and quality standards.
* Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
* Assist in food preparation and cooking as needed, demonstrating culinary expertise.
* Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring the kitchen is well-stocked for service.
* Implement and maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area.
* Monitor food production processes to ensure consistency and quality of dishes served.
* Handle any kitchen-related issues or emergencies promptly and effectively.
* Open and close the food truck (Wed-Sun)
* Oversee junior team members (aged 18)
* Ensure food quality, hygiene, and consistency
* Serve customers during peak hours
* Report any issues to the owner
Requirements
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment.
* Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and serving.
* Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen.
* Previous experience in hospitality is highly desirable.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
