Compensation: The hourly rate ranges from $15.00 to $19.00, depending on experience, with eligibility for additional incentives.
About The Role:
The General Service Technician is a full-time or part-time hourly position responsible for basic vehicle repair and maintenance, delivering exceptional service and ensuring guest satisfaction through effective communication and quality work.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform vehicle services and repairs efficiently according to Monro standards.
2. Conduct tire services including removal, balancing, repairs, mounting, and TPMS.
3. Perform basic vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, bulb and filter replacements, and battery testing.
4. Complete Courtesy Inspections on every vehicle, identifying additional service needs.
5. Assist with inventory management and store maintenance to uphold cleanliness and readiness.
6. Follow safety standards and test drive vehicles following policies and laws.
7. Adhere to company policies, safety, environmental, and OSHA standards.
8. Maintain technical knowledge through Monro University training.
9. Operate and maintain equipment safely per guidelines.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Automotive training or experience in basic maintenance and repair.
* Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report.
* Own a basic set of tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.
