Role and Responsibilities
* Experienced class 1 tipper and low loader drivers are required for this role.
* Transporting goods and machinery efficiently and safely, both locally and long-distance.
* Previous experience of low loader work would be required due to the nature of the work.
* Experience of using chains would be required due to the nature of some of the work.
* Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each trip
* Some nights out may be required during the working week.
* Comply with all traffic laws and regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of driving hours and Work Time Directive (WTD) compliance.
* Promptly report any incidents or accidents to the client.
* Keep detailed records of deliveries and pickups.
* Provide exceptional customer service.
Your Qualifications
* Hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence
* Possess a current CPC card
* Work independently and efficiently
* Manage time effectively
* Communicate clearly and professionally
* Have a maximum of 6 penalty points on your licence with no DR or DD offences
Working Hours and Pay
* Monday to Friday
* Night shifts and day shifts available
* Earn between £17 and £22 per hour
* Holiday pay on top.
