A Vacancy at Northumbria Healthcare - NHFM (Northumbria Healthcare Facilities Management).
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Multiskilled Craftsperson to work at Hexham General Hospital. The successful candidates will work alongside the current multi skilled team to maintain the Hexham Hospital site including the Haltwhistle Memorial Hospital site. The post is 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday and will also take part in the emergency on call rota.
The post holder is working for Northumbria Healthcare Facilities Management.

The successful post holder will be involved in the day to day operation and maintenance of all Building/Engineering, life and business-critical services, plant and equipment within all Trust and non-Trust properties within their remit, including some installation work. They will be required to participate in the Estate\'s on-call rota and undertake essential out of hours on-call duties, as directed.
Responsibilities
* To provide a multi-skilled Electrical & Mechanical service provision for the Estates Department to all Client departments and Directorates.
* Ability to organise and prioritise own workload, where required, and work unsupervised.
* Must demonstrate total commitment, versatility and flexibility whilst undertaking all tasks and delegated work as instructed by Operations and Project Officers and Supervisor.
* To role model compassionate and inclusive leadership in order to shape the creation of a collective leadership culture within the trust. This means demonstrating a consistent leadership style which (a) engages, enables and empowers others (b) uses coaching to promote ownership of learning and quality improvement and (c) facilitates team working and collaboration within teams / departments and across organisational boundaries.
* Understand the complete workings and operation of all building services Mechanical & Electrical plant and equipment located in NHS buildings.
* Install, service, test, diagnose, repair and calibrate advanced Mechanical & Electrical plant and equipment.
* Deal with new situations as they arise and impart knowledge onto others to further their development.
* Undertake training as and when required to obtain, maintain and develop skills and knowledge base.
* Ordering of stores/materials as and when required.
