Responsibilities
- Supply prescriptions, deliver a range of NHS and private services, and provide health‑care advice to customers.
- Play an active role in our charity support programme, giving advice to people in the community at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
- Support the Pharmacy Manager to lead, train, and develop colleagues.
- Support the Pharmacy Manager in building relationships with Primary Care Networks and GP surgeries.
- Ensure accurate payment claims for NHS‑covered items.
Qualifications
- Pharmacy Degree.
- Passion for leading and empowering a team.
- Membership of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and willingness to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
- Completion of a DBS check (organised by us) before employment.
- Only candidates aged 18 or older may apply.

Our Duty Pharmacy Managers are supported by wider store teams – such as security, stock replenishment, range management, and administration – to ensure a smooth and consistent experience for customers and patients, whilst maintaining safety for all.
We offer colleagues a high level of working flexibility and control over their work rotas, enabling routine overlap periods with other pharmacists on duty for collaborative patient care and colleague development.
